For Thou Art with Me

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

Invisible is defined as that which is unable to be seen, transparent or undetectable by the natural eye. The entire world is in a continual fight against the Corona Virus. However, we do see the effects of the virus through the alarming numbers of those who have contracted it, are being hospitalized and unfortunately loss their lives to it. As dismal as it sounds, our security has always been and still lies in the power, presence, and protection of our invisible almighty God! Psalms 23:4 state “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

There are many things that we may encounter that are invisible and just as daunting; but we have an ever-present comforter, helper, and succorer . . . the Holy Spirit who guides and keeps us safe; and yes, in those times when the mountains seem impossible to climb, we can cling to the promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us. . . “and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:20b

So, let us release every care and concern over to our all wise and invisible God; we may not see Him, but we can see and experience the mighty works of His hands as He heals, provides, protects, and carries us safely through every step of the way. He will give us the strength that we need to meet the challenges of this day and every tomorrow; His amazing grace is sufficient “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9.

All praise and honor to God that we can rest in His arms of protection and say as David said, “I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” He is orchestrating all things according to the counsel of His divine will; His abiding love is comforting and giving our souls the very peace that we need to press on!

Blessings and peace to all and may you trust in Him who will not leave you… but hold to God’s unchanging hands!
