“And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” Mark 5:29.

It is utterly impossible to have and encounter with Jesus and remain the same. There is an instantaneous change that comes to the one who reaches out and receives the healing touch of our Lord. Healing is manifested in all forms, whether the need is physical, mental, or spiritual…just one touch from the Master sends and abundance of restorative power throughout every fiber of our being. “And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” Mark 5:29.

Imagine a woman having a very debilitating illness, the bible tells us and issue of blood for over twelve years, that no one could heal, she had exhausted every resource and yet, to no avail, no one could provide the healing that she needed. But one day she heard of Jesus and one touch changed her life forever. . .  “When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” Mark 5:27-28.

Have you heard of Jesus -the one who gave sight to the blind, made the lame to walk, raised the dead, feed the hungry multitude; and still lives and performs miracles today…? He is the only wise God, eternal and Almighty! There is nobody greater “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18.

What do you need today – is it healing in your body, peace in your mind or light to dispel the darkness in your sin sick soul? Jesus has the power to break every single chain, and when He touches you something miraculous happens…something happened and now I know, he touched me and made me whole!

When we run to the throne of grace, He knows, He hears, and He will answer. “And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?” Mark 5:30. The woman with the issue of blood and all the multitude around were witnesses to the healing power of Jesus that day…the healing had already taken place when His virtue or power flowed from Him to her.

I ask you again- where are you and what do you need? Jesus will meet you right where you are and fulfill your need…His shed blood will never lose its power; if you have ever had it applied to your life, then you can testify that it reaches to the highest mountain and if flows to the lowest valley, praise God, it gives us strength from day to day. Have you Heard-He is the greatest friend of all!
