Do You Know Him?
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8.
There is absolutely nothing greater in this life that we can acquire or even desire, which surpasses an intimate relationship with of our Creator God; His unconditional love and amazing grace, sent the greatest gift of all, His only begotten Son to save us of our sins and provide the way to eternal life. It is only through Jesus Christ our Lord that we can have everlasting life; it is imperative that all born-again believers proclaim to others who Jesus is “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1. The bible establishes that God is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and ending of all things. He is manifested in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, three personages, but one holy and omnipotent God. Therefore, Jesus the only begotten Son of God, our Lord and Savior…is God! “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8,
Everything in the bible, God’s love letter to us…points to Jesus and His salvation of mankind. Revelation 1:15-17 state “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
The fact is we either believe the bible and the testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ or not. Our eternal destiny depends on where our belief lies; prayerfully, you believe and know that Jesus is Lord and Savior and through Him we have abundant and eternal life. He is without any doubt, the Great Shepherd of the sheep, our provider, protector, and lover of our souls now and forever! Every beloved child of God can proclaim as David did “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1.
When we know Jesus in the pardon of our sins and His amazing grace…we have peace that goes far beyond our human capacity to understand, but without Him life is dark, dismal and headed for eternal damnation, total separation from God. Do you know Him? If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior…today is the day of salvation, believe that He is and that He alone has the power to give you eternal life…there is no greater friend, than Jesus; He is calling, won’t you answer before it is too late? “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20.
God’s blessings of peace, joy and love be with us all.
