For Thine is the Kingdom
“For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13b.
The wind blows and we feel the effects, but are unable to see it; the oceans depths that are beyond the reach of man, roll up to the shore, stop and return, and the celestial heavens appear in the day and night without the assistance of any earthly source, and the very breath that we take to sustain life is given each moment…everything moves and obeys the Master of Heaven and earth, the Great I AM, God Almighty! “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13b.”
We must honor our Father in Heaven as holy and above all that we know, He is God and above Him there is no other. To Him belongs the glory in all things, He has so graciously given to us a free will to choose whom we will consecrate our hearts, souls, and minds to… but we still belong to Him in the final analysis. “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7.
To those who choose to believe that they are self-existence, this knowledge of our Creator may be dissenting; but to those of us who know that God is real, and that nothing exists without His power…it opens us to a spiritual reality of hope and peace that supersedes anything that this present world can provide. “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” Romans 1:20.
Do you really have any mountains to climb this morning, or rivers that appear insurmountable to cross; Our Father in Heaven, is our sustainer, healer, protector, provider, and deliverer now and forever. He succors us in the darkest of hours and because all things must obey His will, there is nothing, absolutely nothing impossible with God! “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37.
Whatever our needs or concerns may be this day, let us lean on the everlasting arms…it is well. If He can fling the moon and the stars in the sky, then He can certainly keep us safe in and through the circumstances of this life. “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” Psalm 37:2.
So, my friends, let us fall to our knees and give God all the glory, reverence and praise because of who He is, “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13b. Our hope is built on nothing less:
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest friend
But wholly trust in Jesus name
