Gods Loving and Watchful Care

“”Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” Psalm 32:7.

Even in the ups and downs of life, all of God’s beloved children can rest in the assurance of His watchful care and protection. “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” Psalm 32:7.

In one of my favorite poems entitled “Mother to Son” by Langston Hughes; he writes: “Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair;” it speaks of a mother encouraging her son; the analogy is of a tattered, worn-out set of stairs in contrast with a crystal clear staircase; it expresses the condition of one’s life that has endured

+multiple trials and tribulations; but she admonishes him to never give up, to persevere even though it may seem insurmountable to climb. Our lives are comprised of a series of mountain peaks and valleys; but we can never give up… our steps are ordered by the Lord.

My friends, we don’t walk this journey of life alone; 1 Peter 5:8-9b (KJV) “knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” It is a comfort to know that we have brothers and sisters in Christ who endure the similar conflicts, especially in times like these; we’re all experiencing circumstances that we can’t truly comprehend . . . but our Sovereign God has this too!

God says: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will guide thee with mine eye.” Psalm 32:8; His unconditional love and divine providence have planned each of our lives according to His will. We can rest in the love of the “Good Shepherd;” He cares for, protects and guides us in the path of righteousness; He gives us sweet peace that allows us to rest; He alone is the anchor of our souls and succors those who trust in Him.

God cares and watches over us and if His eye is on the sparrow, I know He unfailingly watches over me! Let us hold steadfast to God’s unchanging and faithful hands…all of His beloved children are safe in the everlasting arms!

Blessings, peace and encourage someone else along the way today!
