All is Well

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.

Have you ever felt your heart pulled from one side to the other: heavy on one side and thankful on the other? In our prayer sessions we receive numerous request: so, like any other Monday night I received the texts, and a few hit my heart as I listened to the needs of two different mother’s…both needing the comfort and strength of our Almighty God; both having daughters, one a new freshman, struck by lightning when dropped off to the start of a new life in college, and the other found shot dead in her car at 22 years old after only a couple of weeks from graduating from college.

Yet, we know that there are many, many others who suffer the pain that these mothers are feeling, or even greater; but there is comfort, peace, and grace to be found at the foot of the cross for all. We cannot answer why somethings happen as they do; but we who believe and are the beloved children of our Almighty God, have hope and peace in His sovereignty and love. The word of the Lord reminds us in times like these: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28. He alone can give rest and comfort to the weary soul!

So, those of us who are committed to lifting others before His throne of grace are assured that when we call for Him to lift the burden from the heart of another… He will answer. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:” 1 John 5:14.

As we fall on our knees in fervent prayer…our hearts become lifted with the hope and peace that He has the ultimate plan for all creation; He sees and knows just what every last one of us stand in need of at any given moment; and the Holy Spirit ushers in the sweet assurance that all is well… reminding us that God will provide His protective covering of love, comfort and peace to the hurting soul. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1.

May we remember whose we are … that He is sovereign and all wise, He knows what is best; He has never failed us… regardless to how rough the road may be… we have a God who cares! let us fall before His throne in thanksgiving, giving Him the glory, honor, and praise for being the Alpha and Omega, the One who holds this world and every care and concern in His all-powerful hands!

My friends, this life teaches us to take one day at a time… and If by chance anything may upset you with another today… think on the circumstances again…let us thank God for giving us the time and space on this side of life; God help us to appreciate one another, and love beyond each other faults for this is what His amazing grace has done for us all… He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs…all is well my sisters and brothers…all is well!

God blessings of love and mercy be with us all.
