Standing Strong in Spiritual Conflict

“And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.” 2 Chronicles 15:2.

Conflict is inevitable, we all experience adversity and unrest at various times; those of us who have been saved by the grace of God face even greater spiritual conflict. The enemy of our souls is constantly strategizing to gain power and control of our minds. Ephesians 6:12 state “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

There are things that come against us that shake our very core; but recognizing and acknowledging where the conflict arises is half the battle and restores our focus on our power source, the Lord God Almighty “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” Psalm 24:8.

King Asa of Judah in the book of second Chronicles found confidence and strength in God when he was reminded that the Lord was with him and the children of Israel .

Regardless to what occurs in this life; in times of trouble and unrest we can turn to the Lord. Just as in the account of King Asa and the children of Israel, we can rest in the assurance that the divine presence of the Lord is with us. And, praise God, He has provided for us in the Dispensation of Grace that we are living, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He will never leave or forsake us! “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” John 16:7.

My friends, whatever your need or conflict is, seek the Lord, run to the foot of the cross! God will answer when we call and meet us just where we are physically, spiritually, or mentally…reminding us that we are His and His alone; absolutely nothing that Satan and his demonic forces can throw our way will ever pluck us out of His power hands. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Romans 8:35.

Let us stand strong in the Lord, we can weather the storms of this life with confidence in His love and power…we are safe in His everlasting arms. “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39.

We are never alone in the fight. . . “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10. The battle has already been fought and the victory won…have faith in God!

Blessings and peace to all … God’s got this too!
