I Will Bless the Lord at All Times!

“From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3

Can you truly say that you will praise the Lord in all that you go through? The scripture tells us “From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3. It is not predicated on whether we need healing in our bodies, or food on our tables… we are admonished to “Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.” Psalm 33: 1.

To bless means to praise, honor, reverence and worship God . . . the phrase When praises go up, blessings come down is a welcoming promise to the heart. Haven’t you been truly down and just started to think on the goodness of God- or truly thankful for His goodness and mercy? It opens the mind and consumes us with the nearness and presence of God-He is an all-consuming fire that purifies the soul…He is good and His mercy endureth forever!

The enemy desires and would love nothing better than to hinder and stop us from giving praise and glory to God…he wants us to focus on the things that seem impossible and hopeless-never forget he wants to take us out- but regardless of what we go through…we have a hope that is anchored and sure in the Lord… And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:3-5.

So, I encourage you to lift up  your hands and voices, bowing down to worship our merciful and gracious Heavenly Father right now…and watch how He releases the burden that presses heavy on your hearts and give you a peace that no human mind can even explain. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7.

My friends, it is true that all things are level at the foot of the cross, every need no matter how great or small are all met by the lovingkindness of the One true and living God. The rich, poor, educated, uneducated, downcast, or even if you think you have it all together… we all answer to the very same God, He is sovereign and all things move according to His will and divine power. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19.

God pours out His abundant love, joy, and amazing grace on whosoever will humble themselves and give Him all the glory. One commentator expressed it like this “When we praise, productivity is maximized, fulfillment is realized, and frustration is neutralized.”. Praising God lifts us up far beyond the immediate cares of this world and takes us into the spiritual realm…our hearts are enlightened and yes, we are blessed beyond measure. Therefore, I don’t know about you… but “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalms 34:1. Praise be to God!

God blessings and peace be to all…praise ye the Lord!

Amen. To our loving, kind and merciful Heavenly Father be all the glory, honor and praise forever. So thankful that as powerful, just and righteous as He is He knows how to handle us in our fragile humanity, never letting go of us even when we unravel. 🙌🏽🫶🏽🙏🏽
