^“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.

What are you waging war against this morning? The Bible tells us that we fight not against flesh and blood but against unseen enemies-principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places!

This may seem daunting…but remember this- even though Satan is a formidable foe…the good news he is a DEFEATED foe- Jesus paid it all on Calvary’s cross and sits on the right hand of the Father in Heaven with all power! “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15. ALL power! Let me repeat that…All power!

Do you believe this? The word of the Lord tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. ^“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.

We are victorious and Mighty through God meaning that we are empowered by the Holy Ghost and the weapons that we use are made effective by God’s power and authority. – ^“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57.

So are you, a loved one or friend facing a strong hold induced by the enemy- remember that old arch enemy of our souls  is the father of every lie– an his strongholds are those things that influence our thoughts-they are falsehoods and lies that lead us far from the truth of God- they lead us down a dark path that goes farther away from the will of God- it starts with the lie- and grows into a belief that enslaving the mind, body and soul-but my friends we have the victory in Jesus- every stronghold can be torn down by His power and He has suited us up for war!

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:14-18.

So today…suit up-through the power of God-take back what the enemy is trying to steal-whether it is you, your children, your spouse, other family or friends-the devil is a lie! But with God all things are possible… “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26.

We’re already in the fight ya’ll -are you ready to win- then get ready, before your feet hit the floor- begin with prayer– asking God for His protective covering over your spouse, children, other family members, and friends and then put on the whole armour of God-suited for the battle of the day resisting the onslaughts of the enemy… “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8.
