Praise Ye the Lord!
“Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalms 150:6
Creation is the masterpiece that originates from the only true source of light and all that is good; the expression of the Alpha and Omega, our Great and Almighty God; it is His inscription on all things visible and invisible that says I AM love.
Every opportunity to see the light of day, or feel the warmth of the sun, hear the gentle breeze as the wind blows…demands that we humbly bow and give our Creator the glory! “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalms 150:6
When we reach way down deep in our souls and allow our most heartfelt praise to come forth, we just cannot hold our peace; the prophet Jeremiah felt as though there was fire shut up in His bones when He thought of the word of God…“But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.” Jeremiah 20:9b.
Even the very rocks will cry out in the presence of our Creator… so, this day is another God given opportunity for us to give Him honor, blessings, and glory. “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.” Psalm 103:1.
When I look back and see what the Lord has done not just in my own life…but for all His beloved children, He died on that old, rugged cross around the ninth hour for your sins and mine, but praise be to God-that is not the end of the story-1 Corinthians 15:55 states it like this “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” Death couldn’t hold the Alpha and Omega, the Great I AM in the grave, and early on the third day morning – He got up from that “borrowed” tomb with all power in His hands… and I don’t know about you, but I am so glad about it- because He lives… we have eternal life and “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.”
The words of a familiar hymn resonates in my heart…I just can’t stop, praising His name, no just can’t stop praising His name- Hallelujah…Jesus- My friends He is our all in all and to Him be all the glory- let us give Him total praise!
God blessings and peace to all.
