A Sense of Urgency
“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” 1 Peter 4:7.
Father, I stretch my hands to thee, no other help I know; if thou withdraw, they self from me whither, shall I go? We are living in perilous times, sailing through tumultuous and uncharted waters. Our focus must look towards the Sovereign of the universe, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” 1 Peter 4:7.
In a time when everything is so unprecedented, we have the peace of knowing, that we can steal way and talk to the Lord. He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. He knows exactly what is going on in our hearts and this world. He is the only answer and is not shocked or surprised by the dismal circumstances that we face.
When we come humbled, yielded, and open hearted before Him, He will answer. His faithful promises are a comfort to our soul. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” 1 John 5:14-15. Let us fervently pray for His intervention and grace on us all. Regardless to what we see or hear, our faith must be unwavering in His love and power.
It is imperative that every born-again believer, act with a sense of urgency and hasten to bombard heavens doors with prayers. We must seek God for healing, guidance, and spiritual revival. There is strength and peace in the prayers of His children. When we come together on one accord, we can experience innumerable breakthroughs and see evidence of His power to do the impossible.
So, we let us act now, God has given us the answer for healing of the sin sick soul “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
God is faithful, who promised; He hears and will answer our prayers. He will protect and sustain us now and throughout eternity. My friends, let us run like never before to the foot of the cross; “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7.
God blessings of peace, protection and love be with you always.
