Praying for Others

“Confess your faults one to another; and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16.

The bible teaches us that we all suffer like afflictions in this life, that means that we are all going through something, but we have the assurance that God will deliver! “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” Psalms 37:19.

It is a privilege to take our petitions before the Lord, asking for His goodness, grace, mercy and strength not only for ourselves, but for others. As the old spiritual song goes, somebody prayed for me, had me on their mind!  James 5:16 state “Confess your faults one to another; and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

What a blessing it is to hear and be a witness to God’s faithfulness to answered prayer; it is a display of His great mercy and love towards us all. Praise God that He has no respect of persons…our Father in Heaven provides for all His beloved children; He keeps us safe in His everlasting arms.

When we fall on our knees at the throne of grace, seeking the Lord to heal and give strength in individual circumstances; He faithfully shows up in His own time and way; providing the comfort, strength, and peace that we need according to His divine will.

My friends, God is our hope for every tomorrow, let us continue to faithfully pray one for another; He will shower us with His amazing grace to walk this Christian journey. 1 Timothy 2:1 state “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

May we never forget that we have a charge to keep; we are duty-bound to pray for others.

A charge to keep I have,

A God to glorify,

A never-dying soul to save,

And fit it for the sky.

To serve the present age,

My calling to fulfill:

Oh, may it all my pow’rs engage

To do my Master’s will!

God blessings to all and serve today with gladness!

It’s a blessing when you include old hymns that we use to just sing, but now, TGBTG we can see and feel Him working them in our lives. Praise God whom all blessings flow.🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✝️💞
